Nite at the Museum: Kid vs. Nature

Friday, September 26 - 27

5:30 p.m. - 8 a.m. Nite At The Museum

Go off the grid with Nite at the Museum at Minnesota Discovery Center!

This is a unique opportunity for children ages 8-12 accompanied by an adult to spend the night outdoors at Minnesota Discovery Center. Spend your evening enjoying workshop activities about wilderness survival!  We will hop on the trolley and spend the night underneath the stars at our Glen Location.

Activities include:

  • Build an Emergency Shelter and Orienteering
  • Knot Tying and How to Hang a Food Bag
  • Altoid Tin Stove and Survival Kit
  • Throw an Atlatl
  • Fire Making and Water Purifying

Before you know it, it’s lights out and you’ll be going into your tent and crawling into your sleeping bag.

Join us for this wildly fun night to beat the back-the-school blues!
