Crafting Legacy Miniseries
Minnesota Discovery Center debuts 'Crafting Legacy' - a Minnesota Discovery Center original production.
Crafting Legacy focuses on highlighting regional artists work, culture, and heritage through educational and promotional video in an effort to support artists that have been impacted by the global pandemic. The videos include illustrations of traditional forms of beading, blacksmithing, and weaving.
As a result of this video series, MDC can increase our audience engagement and appreciation for local history. Additionally, MDC can highlight the artists and traditions they carry on, helping our audience imagine these various historical crafts and connect them to Rangers of the past.
