Join us for Storytime and a craft the first Saturday of each month. "Grandma Nancy" reads aloud and helps children create their own masterpieces.

"The Iron Range: The Key to US Industrialization" will be presented by Pam Brunfelt Thursday, September 9 from noon to 1:15 p.m. This is a lunch event (preregistration required) at Valentini's in Chisholm. Click here to learn more.  

Minnesota Discovery Center offers a variety of workshops throughout the year related to special exhibits and the on-going study and celebration of the history and culture of northeast Minnesota.  Registering for a class is simple.

1. Registration: Fill out the registration form with your contact and class information.   Using credit card or check for payment, fax or mail materials to Minnesota Discovery Center.  You can also register in person at the museum admissions desk during regular business hours.
2. Confirmation: Upon receipt of registration and payment, your space in the class is reserved.  A confirmation letter will be sent to you reviewing course content, time, location, and any special instructions.
3. Welcome to Class: You can check in for your class at the admissions  desk where staff will direct you to the course location.  Any material fees associated with the class can be paid directly to the instructor.

Remember:

• Admission to Minnesota Discovery Center is included with your course registration fee
• Food service is available the on-site restaurant
• In case of poor weather or lack of registration, Minnesota Discovery Center will cancel the class and refund registration fees.  In certain cases, class members can elect to apply their course fees to a rescheduled date.
