Iron Range History Players

The Iron Range History Players are actors who bring to life characters from the history of northeastern Minnesota. Starting August 22 through the end of October, our History Players will perform in the Museum Friday through Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30.

The History Players include:
Cuyler Adams: Prospector that discovered the Cuyuna Range in 1882
Elizabeth Gurley Flynn: Speaker and activist that helped organize the miner’s strikes of 1907 and 1916
Matti Pelto: A Finnish immigrant that worked in an underground mine from 1908 to 1914
Laurel Sherman: A rural school teacher that taught from 1910 through 1920 in Northern Minnesota
