June Family Discovery Day

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Family Discovery Days Summer Event
Special activities - and note this one is on FRIDAY!!
- Build a Rain Gauge - Bring a 1 liter bottle and we will help you turn it into a rain gauge.
- Can You Canoe? - Build a canoe from supplied materials and try and get it to float in our outside pond with and without weights.
- Big Snake Game - This game is from Ghana. How long of a snake cane we make?
- Reptiles and Amphibians - Let’s take a walk around the Minnesota Discovery Grounds and see if we can discover any snakes, salamanders, frogs, toads or turtles. We will take our journal and draw something we see.
